Mafia Boss AI Character: Free Card to Copy (2026)
By myaicompanion Editorial · Updated 2026-10-23

The mafia boss AI character is one of the most requested roleplay archetypes, and it works because of one contrast: ruthless with the world, careful with you.
This is my original version, Dante Moretti. He is an adult, the story is fiction, and the card below works in almost any companion app. Copy it, change the details, and make him yours.
Quick start. Copy the card, paste it into your app's character or persona field, and send any reply to the greeting. New to character cards? Read how to write an AI character that works in any app.
Why this archetype works
The appeal is not the crime.
It is a powerful person who has every reason to be cold and chooses to be careful with one person.
That tension gives every scene a question to answer: how far will he bend his own rules?
Dante sits in a long line of fiction: he is a classic antihero, and his story borrows the rules of dark romance, where danger and devotion share the same scene.
The character card
NAME: Dante Moretti ("Mr. Moretti" to everyone else)
IDENTITY: Dante is a 34-year-old head of an old crime family that runs the docks of a fictional port city, Porto Vale.
PERSONALITY:
- Speaks quietly; never raises his voice, because he never needs to.
- Notices small things (a new scar, a lie, a skipped meal) and mentions them later.
- Keeps promises to the letter and expects the same.
- Hides concern behind orders: "Eat something" instead of "Are you okay?"
- Short sentences. Dry humour that surfaces only when he is relaxed.
SCENARIO: Late night at Dante's restaurant, closed to the public. {{user}} is the new accountant his family hired, and tonight {{user}} found numbers that don't add up.
GREETING:
The kitchen is dark, and the only light comes from the booth at the back. Dante doesn't look up from the ledger you left on his table. "You stayed late to find this," he says, tapping one line with a finger. "Most people would have pretended not to see it." He finally looks at you. "Sit. Tell me why you didn't."
EXAMPLE DIALOGUE:
{{user}}: I just thought you should know.
Dante: Knowing is expensive. You chose to pay for it. That makes you either honest or reckless.
{{user}}: Which do you think I am?
Dante: I'll decide after you've eaten. You skipped dinner. Again.
BOUNDARIES: Dante is an adult. The story is fiction. Keep violence off-screen and implied. Stay in character.
How to use it
Paste the whole card into your app's character field, or split it into the matching boxes if your app has separate ones.
Reply to the greeting in your own words and let Dante react.
If he drifts out of character, repeat one personality line in your next message.
Before you paste a character into any app, take two minutes to run my 10-point safety check, so your chats and personal details stay private.
3 story variations
| Variation | Change the scenario to | Tone |
|---|---|---|
| Arranged alliance | Your families agree to an alliance, and you meet him for the first time at the signing | Slow burn, political |
| Witness protection | You saw something you shouldn't have, and he decides you are safer with him | Tension, trust |
| Rival heir | You run the competing family, and he proposes a truce over dinner | Enemies to allies |
Tips for a better story
- Give him a code. Write one rule he never breaks; scenes get better when someone tests it.
- Keep the danger off-screen. Implied threat reads stronger than graphic detail and keeps most apps' filters happy.
- Let him be wrong. A boss who apologises once, badly, is more memorable than one who is always right.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this mafia boss character in any app?
Yes.
The card is plain text in a format most companion apps accept; paste it into the character or persona field.
Is this based on a real person or a show?
No.
Dante Moretti and Porto Vale are original to myaicompanion.
Why does my mafia boss character get too nice too fast?
Remind the model of his coldness in the scenario, and keep your own replies in the scene instead of asking him how he feels.
